What this website stores in your browser, and why the honest answer is almost nothing.

Nothing on this site is loaded from any domain other than this one, which means the page you are reading received its stylesheet, its plain layout with no scripts, and its images from the same place that served the HTML.
We state that plainly because so many cookie notices open with pages of description for behaviour a reader did not ask for. Our position is simpler: we set no cookies for tracking, profiling, or advertising, and there is no consent banner to dismiss because there is nothing to consent to.

Hosting infrastructure and server records
Delivering a web page requires a web server, and web servers ordinarily record a request line, a timestamp, and a network address in a log.
